Meta: Visual Systems
From 2019-2021 I worked as the Creative Director on the FB Visual Systems Expressions team. I contributed as an org leader, senior people manager, cross company design leader in Avatars, and in providing creative strategy guidance and connecting our visual design team to our cross functional partners to ensure we were working together to meet shared goals.
Expression Labs
As the Creative Director of the V/S Expressions Pillar, I guided a team called “Expression Labs” that explored innovative ways to express oneself on FB’s Newsfeed. The goals were to try out new things and learn, not necessarily to ship, which gave the team space to really play and try new things.
Reactions 2.0
Reactions 2.0 was an exploration on how we might build on the popularity of an iconic FB feature: Reactions. We explored ways to boost delight and bring joy into people’s day by leveraging on culturally meaningful moments and seasonal events.
